In your experience, which suppliers get their plastic survey markers and/or nail discs delivered fastest from the time of order?
Surv-Kap. I order custom stamped 1 3/4" brass discs and get them in less than a week, usually 4 or 5 days. I wouldn't use plastic toy caps.
@dave-lindell Interesting alternative. I'll check it out, thanks
If you are just looking for plastic caps, these guys are fast and the caps are high quality: https://www.surveycaps.com/
If you are looking for metal monuments, Berntsen's quality is leaps and bounds above Surv-Kap.
@hi-staker : "Plastic caps" and "high quality" don't belong in the same sentence.
@dave-lindell I hope none of your survey equipment is plastic then!
We have been using plastic caps for 25 years and have been pleased with how they hold up to the environment in Montana. Our aluminum caps also have plastic inserts which have held up just fine.
@hi-staker I tried a hypothetical calculation. If a survey costs $2000, monuments last 25 years, and a simple lot needs 4 monuments, that's a cost of $20 per monument per year for the homeowner.

Plus one for https://www.surveycaps.com/ < I like the ring guard caps a lot.
And I am not really interested in stocking $6,000 of aluminum rebar caps into my trucks.
I got mine from these guys and they were reasonably quick, maybe a week or so.
