Used Nate's method of crossing the river. Long day of chopping around 80 or so acres. Beautiful day for surveying, lousy grown up clearcut w/ bushes and briars head high, but still a great day.

Yes, the top of Cannon Mountain is visible to the east. I am working in the next valley to the west of Franconia Notch NH. The top of the 7 0person aerial tramway building is visible just to the left of the summit.

I just went and looked up "Gullible" Sure enough, it was not there.

But, the water was cold!
