It seems the website for SSI is broken so I'm kinda wondering if they are still in business??ÿ

I have a locator that requires a tune up .

Look in the back of the survey magazines, there is a little ad for locator repair flat rate. I used them once and they were awesome.

I remember a few like that in Virginia, maybe in Franklin County??ÿ Usually for the ones in the road there was a little sump left around the monument, those were OK - but yes, some were nasty.?ÿ I've also recovered several cased NGS monuments where the interior pretty much seemed to stay pristine.

So I found out that Sub Surface is still in biznas and it was just a broken website.

I spoke with them this morning and will be sending my locator in for repair.
