Hi There:
?ÿ
Anyone ever see the following error: "File has mixed type data" when importing a .txt file OPUS report into Starnet??ÿ This is my first time.?ÿ When I go to the line it refers to, all it says is "ITRF position of unit as determined by individual baselines".?ÿ Seems strange.?ÿ Any ideas?
I have version 8 and several months ago the OPUS importer stopped working. Apparently OPUS made some formatting changes to their report.?ÿ I made Microsurvey aware of it and I believe that they have fixed it in version 9.?ÿ
OK - so I pulled up an old file, saw that the following was additional in my new file, cut it out of the new file as a test, and Starnet took it.?ÿ I'm going to test the data to see if it works in Starnet.?ÿ Is this something new being added to the file by OPUS??ÿ I believe I have the latest version of Starnet (at least it isn't yelling at me to update when I run it).?ÿ

Here are the lines I cut out:

Thanks Mark.?ÿ I'm on 9.1 already.?ÿ They do say there is a 9.1a available.?ÿ I'll try that.?ÿ In the meantime, I'll see what I can do with my chopped file.
Ok - so I ran it with that ITRF stuff chopped out, and starnet seemed to like it just fine.?ÿ The coordinates seem reasonable, and check with my ground traverse data within tolerance.?ÿ Pulling it up in Google Earth looks reasonable?ÿfor position too.?ÿ
?ÿ
If anyone else experiences this, or knows what I am doing wrong, please let me know.?ÿ I'll try it again once I get 9.1a loaded to see if there are any differences.
