He took a lot of risk for $100 and $200 payoffs.

That is the price of a good steak dinner at some restaurants.

I can't find any evidence that he was a registered surveyor on the public license website. I don't think they delete people from the new system either. They just change their license status.

There is a company licensed in Eagle Pass called Alvarez, Gaytan & Associates.

Local paper printed he "worked as" a surveyor and consultant.

Eagle Pass Business Journal

Gaytan is RPLS

Life is cheap on the border my friend, and apparently so are the local politicians 😉

It's only 'bribery' becuase he is not a politician and they are not considered 'special interest' groups. This S@#$ happens all the time in DC and nothing is done....but some smalltown jo-blow gets busted......just a bit two-faced.

Age 55 + 10 years in the pen = retired.

Anybody else notice the irony of the fact this occurred in Maverick County?
