Who runs this setup? Pros cons?
I am looking at purchasing the new Topcon-PS and according to Carlson Support the PS should run on the Sokkia SRX setting (I also have Carlson), SO I will have to upgrade my SurveyPro to version 5 to run the Topcon-PS and need any info Sokkia SRX users can offer. Works great? or not?

From experience I can tell you that Carlson doesnt run the SRX smoothly. It has alot of comm issues so I wouldn't use carlson at all. You will want to smash it like I did. Good luck

Carlson claims it runs the SRX...Barely.
I've run an SRX for almost 5 years now with Survey Pro. I chose a TDS Nomad, rather than the Carlson data collector that Sokkia was packaging with the SRX. Interesting to hear that there are issues with the Carlson setup. I'm actually migrating in that direction now.
Need to upgrade the firmware on SRX and RCPR3 in order to run latest version of Surv CE with the SRX. Otherwise, instrument won't connect.

No, I'm still on SP 4.8.5, on a TDS Nomad, bluetooth.
