Has anybody ever used one of these? Been surveying for about 7 years and seen this lying around the office,I know how it works but have never used it.

Use the sheet target mode on your total station. It was made for industrial measurement- the effective range would be about 50M.
The 2 point target is used in industrial measurement. Seems to be missing a 100mm extension from the 'B' end and a magnetic base and extension pole. I still have one in the office somewhere.
I used it with the old Monmoss instruments and SDR4E logger, but it still comes in handy.

great for hidden point measurements. There is a large version too- maybe 1.5m long.
My original photo might be bad but it has the 100mm extension on the B side. Was mainly wondering if anyone has used it with a S series trimble gun and if there's a function to quickly derive the pole ends position on the machine once A and B had been measured. Could obviously survey both,do a line calc and extend 100mm but seems tedious and slow
Thanks
