Does anyone know if we still need to supply the engineering reports when a house has Smart Vents? I thought they were through the approval process and that wasn't required with the new forms.
If we DO need to, is there a link to the latest report to attach??

Yeah. I just take picture of the installed smartvent and add it to the certificate.
It must be a localized thing. Our City/County administrators still want the Smart Vent information attached. I don't understand it, because if the things have been approved for use by FEMA, then surely they know all about them, and have that information in the FEMA file cabinet. Go figure.

We have a municipality(s) in Central Florida that require eight pictures on EC's. Go figure.
