they only track 72 channels and L1 only. but for the price, a brand new one costs $1598. In this day, you should be looking for at least multi frequency receivers to get better fix. But thats my opinion.?ÿ

I agree with that. Still if it works you are going to have a big grin on your face at that price!

That is 1/2 the price of PM3s when they were new.

L1 is still a beat ahead of TS and two people on a crew and easily solo territory.

Not bad for a first investment into GPS, of course to do best or better results, it would take two or three to have redundancy of assurance to locations.

I really like the PM3 concept because of the screen and visuals for the quality of data being recorded.

For the Canucks:

ANNOUNCING: REACH RS2
Multi-band RTK GNSS receiver with centimeter precision for $2559.99. Will achieve position fix in seconds. Ideal for high productivity and professional use.
***NOTE: Emlid is offering a promotional price running from April 1 through April 30. We are matching it at $2424.24 Canadian.
***NOTE: A buy-back program has been put in place as of March 30. Customers who pre-order Reach RS2 will receive $100 more than buy-back price on Reach RS+.

Eagerly awaiting results from someone who buys it and combines it with something like Landsat 7 (if that program supports it......or an equivalent).
