More rings; near a site I'm working on.

For the record, biological fungi rings, in other words, UFOs.
Secondary growth around some old fallen trees? ?ÿIt almost looks like some old stump holes at the center of each one. ?ÿOr aliens.
What my son does to burn gears out on vehicles, spin donuts.

Certain grasses grow outward from the original unique location in patterns resembling the photo. ?ÿThe new growth radiates outward as the inner source dies off.
Years ago my mother in law was going on about crop circles how did they get here?
I said the farmer did it.
That was not well received LOL.
Tipi rings maybe??ÿ If you aren't familiar with them, Native Americans used to put rocks around the hide of the outside Tipi to hold it down in the wind.?ÿ Then, when they decided to move, they rolled the rocks off, forming those rings.?ÿ As an aside, finding one is no quicker way to shut down a job site, at least up here.?ÿ Something something historical preservation.
The orientation of the rings give a good hint of what they are, north is up and the openings are to the east. Winds in the area come from the west and northwest probably 90% of the time, they are on a high ridge and there is good water from a stream that runs year round in the valley to the east. Next time I'm out there I'm going to take a closer look.
Look like 'Fairy Rings' caused by fungi.

Sure, fungi...that's what?ÿthey want you to believe
Those are Zircon spacecraft electromagnetic circles caused when landing. The large circle is from the exploratory craft sent here and the smaller circles are from support/escort vehicles. Uncle Padens Nun explained this to me on the way to our diamond mine on Mars.
Drip edge of a stand of trees. Some are big, some are small, some are pronounced, some are faint. It looks very round, random, and natural to me.
...rings from a very large coffee cup..
How much snow do you have out there right now? Might be a bit hard to see.

It varies, some places, even in the flat dry country, are snow machines only, the closest I've been to this site was about 18 miles west and there was 8" of soft snow there. I won't be at the ring site for a while, it's a long way from any road, about 4 miles off a seldom traveled county road. I assume the rings won't be visible till March maybe, more snow coming next week.
One cool thing about the snow, it makes it easy to see where you are doing a topo, this 5 ac. site I did in about 15 minutes, probably 1/2 of that time was replacing a dying battery with one that died almost as soon as I started re shooting. Just needed to drive around the perimeter then spiral in till you run out of room.
