Good day!
I am wondering if there commercially exists a GNSS UHF solution that supports simultaneious correction (redundancy solution) from two or more UHF GNNS references.
Thank you.
amdomag,
Depends, sometimes Yes, sometimes No.
If you are performing Conventional RTK survey, your own RTK Base unit and RTK Rover units with traditional UHF/SS Radios. Repeat your RTK Rover shots/points with diffrent SV Geometry, (different time of day), when taking second, or third RTK shots, be sure to use same Point/Site ID's, the HH data collection SW will, display coordinate Deltas and Averaged coordinates.
Always best to shoot the Control Points at least 3-times to catch field blunders.
If you only shoot the RTK points twice, there's not enough sufficient checks, right??
For NTRIP RTK Rover surveys,
Depends on the NTRIP Mount point you are connected to and using.
With SBL, (Single Baseline RTK) you are only connected to a single GNSS Reference Station NTRIP Mount point. In your HH data Collection SW, Store the RTK point with 4-Character Site/Point ID, change NTRIP Mount points, when your RTK Rover has Re-Fixed the Ambig's,Re-Shoot the same physical point, USE the SAME 4-Character Site/Point ID again. Most all current land survey HH Data Collection SW will perform Point Averaging routine, display the coordinates Deltas and Averaged coordinates. On some Brands of GNSS RTK Rovers, the HH Data collection SW will allow the user to store the RTK Baseline details, back in the office, you can Import the RTK Baseline into your GNSS office SW, Re-Adjust the RTK Baselines if needed.
If your regional RTK Network offers Multi-Baseline, (True Network RTK), select a NTRIP Mount point that supports multiple RTK Reference Stations, you'll get a true 3DLeast-Squares Adjusted RTK Rover shot in Real-Time. Repeat the RTK shot with different SV Geometry, (different time of day), just remember to re-use the same physical Point/Site ID each point occupation.
