A long time ago, I was concerned, that a big survey company, with 4wd trucks, and high standards would come along, find the paperwork I'd missed, find the GLO corners, I'd missed,?ÿ reject the corners I'd set, and "do a really professional job".
Well, it's happened.
Only that company is me. It's work I'd done under my dad's license.
I'm my own enemy.

Don't let the right hand know what the left is doing. Just saying. ?????ÿ
It's not a mistake, if it's you that catches it...
It happens.?ÿ Hold your head high and proceed.
My Problem Solving Flowchart from a January 5, 2010 thread on i-boards.com/bnp/pob/messages:
Asks "Does it work?" If YES, don't mess with it, no problem. If NO, "Did you mess with it?"?ÿ If NO, "Will you catch hell?" If NO, no problem.?ÿ If YES, "Can you blame someone else?" If YES, no problem.?ÿ But if you messed with it, "Does anyone know?"?ÿ If NO, hide it.?ÿ If YES, "Can you blame someone else?"?ÿ If YES, no problem.?ÿ If NO, "You poor son-of-gun."

(With the language cleaned up.)
So it goes.
So it goes.
How many times does that phrase show up in Slaughterhouse-Five (The Children's Crusade)???
???
In the years and years of housing sites I've staked I probably have pin-cushioned my own corners about 200-300 times. ?????ÿ
The bigger the net, the easier the catch.?ÿ What that means is that frequently we are working a rather minor project and find enough close by monumentation to handle the situation.?ÿ Later, some really big job comes along that covers a far wider area of which your earlier project is a very minor part.?ÿ In the process of doing the really big job you discover that you probably would have done the earlier job differently if you had approached it from a much wider angle.

Too many years.?ÿ Too many opportunities to play in the same sandbox over and over.
If I've been hangin' with Nate I didn't know it.?ÿ But, it would be fun if we did.
