I have collected that same obelisk and many more in New Mexico and Arizona when I was with a company that subcontracted to Michael Baker Corp. I still have some pics around somewhere.

Stay safe and wear a wide brimmed hat. The sun in West Texas is a killer!

Well Roadie, at least they left the gate open for you and an improvised sidewalk access. I knew a guy with a 10 ft tripod back in MI he used for his robot in brush to see over everything. Took a step ladder with him when he had to use it. I could call him in case you want to borrow it to set up over that baby.

Oh yea, your Cowgirls are now getting called the Dallas Broke Backs on lots of blogs. Kinda dumb IMO. Good pick up by stupid Jerry, in spite of his ego.
