Has anyone bought equipment or have any info on Pentaland .com ?
They seem to have some good deals on used equipment but they are located in Singapor.

I advise being extremely careful when sending money offshore -- you don't have the same legal protections you have when making purchases in the U.S. My starting assumption is that an offshore sale is a scam, and unless I can demonstrate to myself otherwise within the limits of acceptable risk, I just stay away.

Two sayings come to mind:

1) If it's too good to be true it probably is

and

2) If it doesn't feel right it probably isn't.

I wouldn't trust it. This scam seems to be spreading.

One of the tell tale signs, from their "Terms and Conditions" page:

We accept payments via Bank Wire Transfer TT and Western Union Only

There domain is registered by a company called "Privacy Protection Service" which shields the domain owner from disclosing their personal information.

SCAM.
