I'm so happy right now I'm walking on air -- just got back from meeting with my primary mentor. He says I'm ready to take the exams ... I was scared to death to ask him. There hasn't been much work this year, so we haven't talked much lately. Back in March, my other two mentors told me to start thinking about the application process ... seemed kind of audacious.
I want to thank everyone here for your patience with me & my questions these last few years, and also want to express my gratitude for all the help, support, & enouragement I have received from the (then) RPLS & (now) Beerleg communities.
Through years of hard times, ill health, and a sour economy, Y'all have helped me keep the faith that I could make it to this point, get licensed, and continue to learn and expand my career. Thank you!

well, yah, i'll probably remain half bubble. it's what people are used to.
three-quarter bubble would be too much like one of them modern hyphenated names. not really modest.
seems like the conference registration people will never put "half bubble" on my nametag anyhow! maybe i should head down to the courthouse and make it official, so i could show them my license & make them give me the proper name tag? mrs. bubble and the tiny bubbles would love it.
half bubble, PLS, has a certain ring to it. i mean, you wouldn't want to hire just any ol' clown, right?
fear not, boss. when i have the shiny license in hand, i'll probably switch to my family name, clan name, etc. and paint it on the truck door in a small conservative script like mr. sipes advises.
I sort of wish I were half bubble.... Some of us PLS's are only 3/8 bubble....
Really, when you stop learning, you will not be keeping up, and you will fall behind.
