Occasionally my OPUS solution will come back in the wrong coordinate zone.?ÿ
I am in Colorado Central Zone, sometimes my solutions come in Colorado North zone and less frequently in Colorado South. Does anybody know what causes this?
Its been a while but I thought you could spec what zone you want it in.?ÿ When this happens are you near the edge of the zone.
No, I am pretty much in the middle of the central zone. I let OPUS figure out where I am but when this happens I will open the options and choose for myself and re-submit. I will get back the right answer, just wondering why OPUS goofs it up sometimes.
When you are uploading the file to OPUS, go to the options button and pick the zone you want the results to be in.

Just a guess here, but it might be using stations to compute your coordinates that are in another zone.?ÿ I think you can see what stations its using in the results.?ÿ?ÿ I don't think I've ever had it do what you are describing.
The closest CORS station is in the other zone. Happens all the time in StL. No biggie, just force the zone you want.?ÿ
I don't think I've ever really looked at the SPC number, I just want the Lat, Long, I'll have to pay attention.
Could also be that your profile is stuck.
Good luck trying to clear it 🙂
