Follow-up to post last week regarding Leica GPS1200 and OPUS.
It appears that Leica LGO Ver 8.3 office software, as installed on our network, generates a RINEX 3.01 file header which does NOT report the number and type of observables. The same GPS1200 data, either exported from LGO as RINEX 2.11 file format or submitted directly as Leica raw data .m00 files (shortened file name), is immediately processed by OPUS, no problem.
Hopefully this discussion topic will save someone else from scratching their head and blaming the wrong cause.
Thanks and Regards,

Send The Leica File And Let OPUS Convert It To Rinex
Are you saying there is no way to tell Leica to add the observables to the RINEX file?
If so I would ask Leica for my money back.

Mike,
You are correct about LGO in that you need to only use the RINEX version 2.11 export. OPUS will not except the new RINEX 3.01. So in the Export to RINEX when sending to OPUS only choose the ... Rinex files (version 2.11)option in the Save as type: field...

The other option you need to pay attention to is the option to export GPS Only or All GNSS observables. OPUS will only accept GPS. So in the GNSS Type filed only choose - GPS L1+L2 only...

OPUS works fine when you have these options set. Leica has just provided all of the industry standards for the situation when you need all of the possibilities.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this export.
