Has been a good or a bad thing; another storm moving through this weekend, 5" down so far and going to snow all weekend-they say-we will see.
This has been like the late 60's, 70's winters, been trending that way for a while I think, need to rethink some equipment-a tracked 4-wheeler might be a good idea. I know I could have used one Thursday after spending all morning getting a regular one unstuck-up to the handle bars in snow.
Mighty,
Thought I would pull a smart one. Went south for warmer weather and a respite from this nasty winter weather. It was warmer and no wind....just got stuck in the mud with no bottom. Walked back to the drilling rig and got a front end loader to pull me out. Whole tailpipe assembly broke off, so I came back with my tailpipe between my legs so to say and my carhart coveralls covered in mud. Took $16 at the car wash to clean up the mess. I'm ready for spring thaw.
Pablo B-)
I sent "you know who" out to the field on Thursday. He needed to cut out a 10 acre parcel west of a section line with the section line being the east line. Figured maybe half a days work.
He had been in the area two weeks before and got stymied by snow so I asked him if he could work now since we had a "warm-up". No problem he says, snow about gone out there now.
OK
Calls about 10:30, and wants me to bring out a 4-wheeler cause his is stuck and use the second one to pull out the first one.
We quickly get the second one stuck, not as bad but still an hour later both of them are finally out.
Fun!!
I feel for you, this year has really a pain in the .........
