NJ law states access is granted by sending notification via mail 24 hours in advance. The residents have complained of trespass by the surveyors, not yet proven in court along with "aerial trespass".

Scroll past the end of the story. On your way to the comments you will find several other opportunities to view. One of these features a photo of a fellow holding onto a tripod leg with a level mounted on it and a hoe in the background. It is supposed to be related to the survey story.
