Noticed on the NCEES home page that results have been released to the states as of Nov. 27 for the october exam.
Heard from an Alaska buddy of mine that he got his and passed. I am waiting on the oklahoma board to send me my results- I had no problem, I feel, with the NCEES 6 hour but struggled somewhat on a few questions on the state specific. Didnt get that warm fuzzy feeling on the specific.

And . . . so if you pass, will that make 3 licenses, or did you sneak one in there when I wasn't looking?

Why did you have to take the 6 hour?

ralph- good question- took the test here in texas back in 1984- texas is a little different animal- not a PLSS state.
basically reciprocated my Ca license with some state specific stuff in 1991 but never took the NCEES.
going for the Oklahoma license- that board wanted me to take the 6 hour...

Same here. When I took the test to get my professional license, it was not the NCEES PS exam. Too much stuff on there about PLSSia to be given in Texas.

RA, let me know when you get yours. I suspect we faired the same.

I seen that also. I'm hope they come tomorrow. Seems like it was about 3 days after that message for the FS test last April.

Andy - Are you planning on taking your Ohio test? I thought I saw quite a few posts back that you were going to multiple states.

I'm trying to get my paperwork in order for Kansas and Ohio next year, so I was just wandering.

Matt

RA, They were nice to you. I got my Texas in 87 and CA in 90 under almost identical circumstances as you. I took Oklahoma in 91 and had to take the whole NCEE test of 15 hours and the 1 hour state specific.

Of the last 3, KS, AZ & NM, I only had to take a 1 or 2 hour state specific. If all goes well I should be going after Louisiana next. Then maybe Colorado, Utah and Nevada.

You are never too old as long as the mind works properly.

Actually Andy, there is a 6 hour Colonial Test given by the NCEE that the original 13 and a few others back east use. It doesn't cover the Texas, Mexican and Spanish grants though.

Matthew,

I took the two year surveying and mapping program at Tyler Junior College and was registered before Texas had a four year degree requirement. With that, I don't qualify to sit for the test in Ohio.
