Anyone have a Mobile Mapper 10? I would like to know how you like it and how well it works. I would like to capture resource data i.e wetlands, edge of woods, woods roads, etc.

I have an older MobileMapper Pro that is an excellent unit but a little dated and the 20 minute cold boot time can be a pain.

Hello,
I use it as a controller for my gps (with survce).
The battery holds about 20h. I don't have any issues with it since 2011...

The screen is pretty bad outdoors. There's newer and better technology available for the same or less money.

"There's newer and better technology available for the same or less money."

Thnaks for the reply. I am open to looking at different systems, any suggestions?

Which tasks do you want to accomplish with it?

What software environment are you working in?

Sat AL;

I use Carlson in AutoCAD C3D. What I want is a way to gather lower order data such as wetland limits+- and to populate my plans with internal features not related to the PLs or ownership, such as internal stonewalls and fence lines. At times it can be usefull to have indicators of older internal parcels to help put all of the ancient descriptions together.
