It is a shame that so many of you disappear from this board over the weekend. The thread cited above began at mid-morning this past Friday and gained another post yesterday afternoon.
These real world questions from actual property owners are fantastic. This one started a bit slow, but, once we were provided much more information, the discussion became more interesting. One example being that the description apparently was incorrect to begin with. It described a pointed parallelogram while the aerial view depicts a rectangular shape or nearly so. The new bar set at the southeast corner of the tract increased the number of "monuments" from three to four.
This real world question wasn't quite as juicy as the one a couple weeks earlier from the lady near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. That one progressed to a view of the County GIS showing the property line running through a corner of her house and down the center of her swimming pool. She lost her primary driveway and gained another driveway and a garage. Tht thread is:

And as I've said before, you won't miss hot threads if you use the selection on the main page for "Order by latest posting" instead of latest thread origination. I can't imagine why anyone would want to order by origination.

But in my defense, I get tired of every little thing popping up, I like to ignore posters so I just track back to the good conversations.
