I received some very helpful information last week with respect to on an older Topcon robot and communication issues. Hoping lightning will strike twice and someone will have this answer.
I am trying to update / install the latest Magnet software v3.31 onto the FC-2600.
The installer kept getting hung up on the uninstall part of the install so I manually deleted the program.
Now when I am trying to do a fresh install, it only gives me the option to change or uninstall the program.
Either option leads to it stalling on the uninstall portion and it ultimately fails.
Any ideas how to get this thing to accept a fresh install of the magnet software?

Often just a simple reboot between the install and the reinstall corrects the problem.
Oh believe me I tried that.
I deleted every remnant of files that said magnet on them and then it worked.
i think it was finding old installer files.
