I have a Lico Disto Tape that the battery cover broke and will not stay one. I crawled the net but could not find a supplier. Anyone know where to source one?

Thanks.

The Leica Disto Department for the US is at the corporate headquarters. The information for that location is....

Leica Geosystems Inc.
5051 Peachtree Corners Circle Suite #250
Norcross, GA 30092
USA

Telephone: 800-367-9453
Fax: 770-447-0710

If you cannot get to the right person you can call the Leica general Tech Support line at...

1-800-327-4773 Option = GPS and TPS

and they will pass you onto the right person.

The main Disto website is www.disto.com. If you have a unit that is still under the 3-year warranty you could take it back to your dealer if you purchased at a local dealership that can handle Disto returns.

I hope this helps.

I need the plastic endcap of the unit. Has 2 plastic tabs that slide in, then snap in holding the batteries in place. One of the tabs broke on mine, and the springs that hold the batteries in pushed the cover out, and it will not stay on properly. The duck tape isn't holding, so time for a new cover if possible.
