Good morning, Gentlemen

I'm not too familiar with Leica but I have this Leica TCRP 1205 Robotic Total Station with a

Leica CS15 Data collector with VIVA software...

I was wondering if any one of you have a workflow

of the configuration for instrument and data collector software to work with radio handle.

Please advise at your earliest convenience...Thank you in advance

I no expert in this, but you may need a radio handle that is compatable with the CS15 for this to work. When we replaced the old 2006 model data collector that came with our TCRP1202 with a CS20 we had to buy a new radio handle.

For the record, I thought it was pretty cool that Leica was able to support that upgrade to a 15 year old unit. That and that the 15 year old unit was still going strong!

Mark is correct,

The TCRP's came with the RH1200 which is a spread spectrum radio while the CS15 radio cap is long range Bluetooth. Some of the CS10's came with RH1200 compatible radios as I recall. Anyway, you will need a Bluetooth radio handle (RH15 or greater), an equivalent Leica external Bluetooth modem or perhaps an aftermarket version of the external modem.

Also, make sure you have a compatible version of smartworks loaded on the TS.
