Carriers were out of adjustment when received.?ÿ Sent back for adjustment and the optical plumb image is reversed in one direction.?ÿ Forces me to move opposite in one direction when sliding to the control point.?ÿ I'm not positive but I don't think this happened before the carriers were sent back for adjustment.?ÿ Never had an OP work this way, anyone else experience this?
I have two and they are both inverted left to right.?ÿ I'm still trying to figure out how that can even happen.?ÿ They both came that way out of the box.?ÿ You get used to it.
As for sending them in for adjustment, they are simple to adjust in the field once you get your hands on a small enough screw driver.?ÿ There are four screws on the scope.?ÿ Just plumb up over a target and look for the correction.?ÿ If you need to go to the right, loosen the right screw a bit (notice it does not move the cross hair) and then tighten the left screw to make up half the correction.?ÿ Then retighten the right screw.?ÿ Do the same for the in/out adjustment.?ÿ Re-level and repeat as needed.
Mine are inverted. If there are some that go the right way, then I think that feature has been added recently.
None of the real brand equipment I've dealt with are like that, only the knock-off ones.?ÿ?ÿ
@jph Mine are definitely genuine Leicas and inverted.
@jph?ÿ
Same here.?ÿ If they are knock offs then somethings up with my dealer.?ÿ Also, mine are from various vintages.
