Does anyone have any experience with Leica Exchange service. I need to upload and download data on the CS15 Viva Controller, so I was wondering it anyone has done before and whether it was worth it.

Thank you,

Never tried the Leica Exchange and know hardly anything about it, however the FTP data transfer is something I have used and since no subscription is required I definitely prefer it from a cost perspective. If you are using FTP data transfer but still considering Leica Exchange I would be curious as to why.

If you are using a CS15 Field Controller with Viva, Leica Exchange would offer the most integrated solution. There are FTP programs, Dropbox, etc that you could use however, you will have to move files manually. With Leica Exchange, this can be done right through the software, easily.

That being said, there is a cost to that. Convenience costs.
