Spent yesterday out west. It quit raining at about 10 am and the grass finally out about 1pm.
Data collector was whiney all day complaining about PDOP, "Poor PDOP... POOR POOR PDOP"-
[SARCASM]Well ole' PDOP needs to man up![/SARCASM]

the Idaho line in NW Montana is as close as we get to a rainforest around here.

Last night after limbing thru those cedars- Mrs. File said I smelled like a Christmas wreath and she liked it. :blush:

Under cover, once the leaves and needles of the trees get soaked, you might as well be inside a building, the reception goes away.
The signal is basically bouncing all over the place.
