In the TSC1 controller there are several routines for collecting points; I most often use "Topo Point" however there is a routine for collecting "Kinematic Point" which, depending on the setting, allows observing for several minutes on a single location. Comparing the kinematic to the Topo point I do not see noticeable difference in the resulting coordinates.
Am I missing something or not using the application for the kinematic point correctly?

Using 4700 receivers and the TSC1 controller base rover setup.

It's been awhile since I used the TSC1. If I remember correctly you can name and create any number of styles and edit what they do. It came with "topo point" and "control Point". Someone may have added the others. Go to the screen where you can edit the styles to see what they are doing.

The TSC1 and version of TSC you're running on it are a little before my time, but "Kinematic Point" connotates Post Processing - this may have been an early version of Trimble's RTK & Infill. I agree, check the Survey Style.

I would not expect the coordinate to be any more or less accurate than the Topo Point coordinate.
