I find myself in the market this year (later this spring / summer) for a John Deere Gator XUV.?ÿ Back in 2011 a friend welded a sweet attachment to my 1998 ATV to hold my survey rod.?ÿ It is still working great..?ÿ It is some sort of fancy bicycle holder.?ÿ See photos here:

if it worked well on your atv, why wouldn't it on the gator??ÿ wouldn't even require any welding or major mods otherwise.
