I typically use my Iphone to take field photos over the built in camera for the TSC3. Is there a way to have the picture taken on the Iphone transferred while in the field to the TSC3 and attached to a point??ÿ

?ÿ

Thank You

Probably not. I would be happy just being able to name the iPhone photo filenames.

No good way. You'd just about have to e-mail it to yourself and then attach the JPG as a photo attribute. Cumbersome to say the least.

If you aren't happy with the TSC3 camera check your resolution settings - they default to the lowest, which is pretty horrible. If you set it to the highest it's still not as good as the iPhone but it's convenient.

There is a smartphone app called theodolite.

If you take a photo, it includes gps coordinates, vertical angle, tilt angle, compass bearing, and an area to include notes.

You can't name the photos, but the info is right there on the photo.

Is that for Android also? I searched the app store for "theodolite", "theodolite app for android", and "theodolite survey app" and got nothing that has a similar name.

Thanks
