So I found a survey that was off by 70' and I have tied into the actual record corners (now obliterated by a home). My preliminary results were based on RTK in the woods.
We then surveyed on the ground and found the monuments this surveyor set to be off by feet from the plan the surveyor prepared.
So I do not want to hear all this about bad RTK surveys. My RTK in the deep dark woods (used appropriately as preliminary) was still better than the surveyor who does not use GPS.
