Been awhile since i have posted, been hiding in the shadows. How is business?, more importantly, are you making some good profit in these busy times.

I recently invested back into the company and purchased a new gps unit (Javad), new Can-Am UTV, new office stuff, etc. I was a solo guy for a long time, but?ÿhave been fortunate to hire some wonderful staff, especially fortunate for such a rural, but highly desirable area.

I am on the downhill side of this wonderful profession, went through a few hard times, especially the late 2000's.

One day you will wake up and reality will hit you that you have worked your entire life and have little to contribute to your golden years since you did a $1000 survey for $400 just to get the job.

We are better than that.

Great to hear from you Randy.?ÿ I was wondering where you were at..I guess it's been?ÿtwo or three coaches since we heard from you.?ÿ Winding down here myself.?ÿ I don't guess I'll ever really "quit" though.?ÿ I sold out three years ago and kept one client I do RW work for.?ÿ I work about half the time...the half with pretty weather.

I was able to scratch together a retirement plan for myself.?ÿ That?ÿwas?ÿan uphill task when I've worked for myself most of my career.

Good to see you here! Stay in touch.

Retirement plan??ÿ What's that?

I have the money, I just don't have the desire.?ÿ At least not yet.

Howdy Randy.?ÿ I can tell days ahead?ÿ frosty mornings like today are near from what my bones are feeling. I have been busy despite the weather.

Provide a solid product and they keep ordering.

When they just don't care what they get the shop around.

My retirement plan is pretty simple.

I instructed my daughter and sister where I want my ashes scattered...

Same here. Hope to be found face down, shovel or machete in hand, next to an old cedar fence post or else hanging upside down by my britches from the top strand of wire.

btw, started the first ƒ??newƒ? field work of 2019 about 2 hours ago. Last 6 weeks had been a lot of catching up on CAD and deliverables. Started it off right already:

I used to think I wanted to work to the end. As my friends and family retire around me I'm ditching that plan. That saying about life being short is true...

While I still work on a limited basis, it's just because I want to.?ÿ If I want to go fishing, I go.?ÿ If I want to sleep late, I sleep.?ÿ I spend maybe two nice afternoons a week out in the field.?ÿ I just can't think of anything else to do where I can make so damned much money for doing so little.?ÿ

I guess maybe it's small recompense for all those years I cut line for $1.10 an hour. ?ÿ
