Back in 2008, a Land Surveyor carved a large peace symbol in a hillside while working on a Home Depot project for a local construction company in Juneau, Alaska. Garrith McLean, a ZZ Top lookalike and apparently reminiscent of "The Dude", established the peace symbol not as a political statement, but as a representation of how he lived his own life. The symbol can be viewed at the end of Commercial Boulevard.
