Not really what you want, I suppose, but its a pretty cool map.

This may come close to what you need National Highway System there is a national map with Interstates and US Routes. Also individual state maps with more detail, all in pdf format.

Not aHi Res image, but TIGER/line has some stuff that might be uesful...
