Hope that maybe someone can shortcut this for me.... Purchased a used GR-3 to use as a network rover with my Tesla running Magnet connected via a mobile hotspot. It will connect by blue tooth and shows satellites & connection to the network, but will not fix up. It always seems to be autonomous.... Not a network thing as it works fine with a GRS-1 & multiple stations do the same thing. I'm sure I am missing a setting somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like firmware.

I know once we installed v4.5 on the GR5 it connected to the network in seconds, compared to minutes prior. But I am not sure what the latest firmware was a available for the GR3 before end of life notice.

I just ran into a similar problem.

What version of Magnet Field are you using?

Can you see the mount points?

For past few weeks since upgrading to v3.2.1, I can not connect or retrieve any mounts points from NYSNET, our local network RTN. Spent a part of today trouble shooting. I use Hiper V, so I updated the latest firmware v.4.7. Still no mount points. Then went back to Magnet Field v3.2.0 and I can connect instantly to NYSNET.

Have you tried clearing NVRAM?

Also,
If you dont see the mountpoints hit the shortcut icon in the status screen for "Show all mountpoints"

If its an older version of magnet like 2.6 you may need to goto status, shortcut icon, and "Reset RTK"
