Rinex Dates passed an important milestone on March 1 when it made the "leap" into leap year.
Be sure you are using the most recent version available under the services tab on Beer Leg.
A big THANK YOU to Christof for the programming and Dario for the insight on the mechanics.

RinexDates

Thanks John,

I had indeed two Russian users who reported me the RinexDates wasn't working any longer ... an update to the latest version fixed the problem.

[msg=16]RinexDates 1.3[/msg]

Since we had a leap day on the 29th of February and I only want to change the year and corresponding week value I had to calculate another offset to keep the day of week synchronized. The Year value is now reset to 2007 (-5) years, week correction is now -261.

Another update is in the pipeline, I've added a button to browse to the Baseline html reports and reset the dates there to the date of survey.

For those that use the RinexDates, do you mind me sending some pictures from you at
work with the gps and a nice landscape in the background of the location you operate in?
I try to collect images from the RinexDates users for possible later use on the website or even in the program. I was surprised to receive mails not only from the States and Canada but users from the Czech Republic, Vietnam, Russia and the former Russian countries.

Greetz from Belgium

Christof.

Daryl
Your avatar is pretty bizaro.

Hope to see you at the PLSO Beer Leg gathering whenever and wherever it turns out to happen. I vote for BJ's on Wednesday night to avoid a conflict with the scholarship dinner/auction.

yeah John, I was playing around with fractals in Photoshop and this was an end result, sorta ghoulish.

I'm up for BJ's on Wednesday night... don't think I've ever been there before.

Beer Leg Scholars

BJ's has a whiskey flavored dark beer that is really good but they don't always have it. Keep your fingers crossed that they will be serving it wednesday night. They are within walking distance from the convention, about a half mile over near McDonalds. We will have to tip a few to Christof and Dario the architects of Rinex Dates.

Maybe we can all gather at the Beer Leg booth and figure out a good meeting time. The alternative would be that I will be forced to get there early and by the time the rest of you get there I'd be under the table and of no use to anybody. Of course that assumes I'm of some use anyway.:-P
