1. I'm using GNSS Solutions 3.60.1 with Promark2s and I guess I should update to 3.71.1. Any disadvantages?

2. I don't see that Geoid12 is available yet, or have I missed it? Geoid09 appears to be the last available on the Ashtech site.

3. Both relative and absolute antenna calibrations are available in 3.60.1, but I don't see any way to select in the program. How? or do I need to upgrade to 3.71.1?

4. I've been using USA/NAD83-CORS96/Oregon(North)+Geoid09, epoch 2002 (or so it says), GRS 1980. What do I need to change to update to NAD 83 epoch 2011? I see that the SPC coordinates of the CORS station corv have changed.

my understanding of the new reference frame is not only do the new CORS coordinates change, but the antenna PCV's changed as well. get them from NGS CORS. you are likely using relative PCV's, but will be changing to 2011 published absolute PCV's. all the best to you

I love NGS adjustments. Just try explaining them to a client. Drives the DOT people nuts too. SO much fun matching two different routes done on two different adjustments at an interchange.

Hey Tyler,

When you use RTK with your Promarks, do you use the "initialization bar" or some other method?

I just picked up a pair of Promark 2 units, and really don't have a clue how to use them.

Thanx,

Oregon CFedS 1069

Geezer
