I'm a huge fan and would be happy to donate 5 million dollars to their cause. All I need is a bearing from Boise to Cary and I'll be there with check in hand.
Seems legit.

If my end goal was to get 2 miles up and to photograph the earth, I would just charter a plane, for probably 1/100th of the price, and a far better likelihood of survival.
Incidentally, if the earth IS flat, I am gonna be PISSED at having to learn spherical trig!

Bit of two for one. Prove or disprove the earth is flat and Darwin was on to something.
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.

It sounds like he was trying to raise money for his rocket, and after only raising $300 or so, he decided he would try to hook up with the flat-earth society to see if they would pitch in.
