Like the subject tile reads - I am a novice OPUS user

I observed 2 points using Trimble survey controller and I am trying to submit to get OPUS processing results. The problem is (at leas tthe error message I am getting from OPUS) that it processes one point at a time. How to I separate the points as single observations? Or do I have to re-observe the points?

thank you in advance

Taso Costarides

Export to RINEX, copy and remove one data set from each might do the trick.

Steve is right, ut it's not as simple as it sounds.

Take the dat file and export to rinex. Then open with notepad. Look hard and study the header and marker information depending on the length of the shots,'look about halfway down for another marker name. Copy this into another notepad file or just save as. Don't delete the header information,'just the obeservations for one shot.

Submit it. You'll have to edit it again (multiple times) but you'll eventually get it.

I hate doing it,'but it can be done. It has to be just so or opus will kick it back. The first observation will be the easiest since the header is set up for that shot. You'll have to edit it in he second file to get it right.

Good luck n

In the future be sure to "End Survey" at the end of each static occupation, so you have to "Start Survey" at the next. That way you get separate .dat files for each occupation.
