Excellent. Kudos to your local communities and the engineer. Too many communities had the "new" maps shoved down their throats with no recourse. I'm glad to see someone who stood their ground and pushed back. Now, can you send them my way?

Our "new" maps have increased Zone A areas substantially. Lots of unhappy people. Our maps are also "junk", as the person in the story so eloquently put it.

Hmmm............What about all those LOMAS I did based on the new proposed maps that FEMA is pulling? 🙂

In my community the town did not notify the citizens about the new maps and therefore no one had an opportunity to complain. I found out about them by accident. Thanks for the post.

I agree, our new maps are junk also, with the addition of satellite imagery they have become almost completely illegible.
