I've tried alot of box tapes, in my years.
This is one of my favorites:

It has both feet, and inches.
It pulls out easily, then locks itself. You press the button, to let it wind itself back.
Just one of my favorites.
I think I'd like it a little better, if it had the magnets on the end, to "stick" on a pipe, or rebar.
But, so far, this is a favorite. It has both inches, and Engineers markings on it.

The Komelons are good. But I don't like having both decimal feet and feet/inches on the same face. Too easy to get crossed up.

Always used Lufkin's, dual inches and 10ths, wished I could have meters too on same tape, LOL.

I prefer millimeters and hundredths.
Robert, I got one of those too. I just like the auto lock feature.
