I find it sad that people are willing to abandon all common sense in exchange for the almighty GPS navigation.
Actually, I think it's somewhat of a trust issue. It must be right, right? I fell for that a time or two when trusting my Droid (using Yelp) to locate a restaurant. But I'd never trust it to get me through Death Valley.

Now I get it. This article was linked two threads below, even with a similar title line - but the catagory is "General Non-Surveying" These folks must have that filtered off.
