Cutting Line

Now that looks like a proper line. It seems more companies around me are getting lazy in line cutting. I came across one last month that was all cut at knee high, and you could barely walk down it. Most others are about 6" wide, and if you move your head side to side you loos the line. I was taught, 3' wide, 8' tall, and go until I stay stop.

that is a an awesome line. the sad fact is most big boundaries we run will never pay the labor cost associated with doing a job like that. it just isn't important to most folks. but it sure does look cool when it is all done.

One 3" tree in the way means you have to cut 10 down to get them to fall over. Shoot that is practically wide open already.

Cool line! One of the things about all the new areial photography that's available now is that you can see lines that you cut; even years ago. Here's one of mine old ones today, it's still there and you can see the difference in land uses on each side on the fence placed built along the line.

If it's traverse line you are talking about then, personally, I cut as little as possible. I just need to get a beam of light through eh foliage.
