Hello,

I would like help finding information about Orange County Public Works survey marker L-1535-015, located in Orlando, FL. I tried using LABINS, but I couldn't figure it out. I need tutoring by some patient individual.

Were you able to find the mark on Labins? I.e., click on the map on the first page, then zoom in on the area where the point is, when you zoom in close enough, it should come up on the map and show the point ID number. If it's not there, it means labins hasn't cataloged it and you'll probably have to contact the county for info.

If it's on the map, click "Identify" at the top, then "Drill Down Identity", click on the point on the map, it should put a red dot over the point and give you a list of things touching the red dot. You'll see something like "Datasheet" in the list, that is the link to the control point info.

Hope that helps.

I got a map of all the benchmarks.

Where exactly is this one located?

-edit-

Okay that thing is aggravating (like every other Government GIS system I have fought with). Be sure to stand on one toe while holding your tongue just right in your mouth.

I managed to get a list of benchmarks starting with L153 but they go from L1533 to L1538, no L1535. The instructions are inaccurate, they work to a point then the thing is different. You look for the query then can put search terms in.
