When i generate a legal description in civil 3d it gives me decimal degrees. Is there anyway I can generate this to come out in degrees Minutes and seconds? Any advice would be helpful.

Set your drawing properties to surveyor units. I'm on the wrong computer to give you step by step, but it's under the Civil3D pull down menu.
Something like C3D pulldown at top left-->drawing settings-->Units. Can't remember if there is also something in ambient settings.
How are you generating the description, by a table? May want to check table settings too.
My Units are in surveyors units. My tables come in all correct. I am generating the description off a Parcel that I created. Is there anyplace to change a Parcel setting for this?
Toolspace,toolbox,edit report settings(red toolbox icon above reports manager),legal descriptions. that should do it.
