RinexDates - Christof Lambrecht

Adrien,

It's a pleasure to work on it together with two other surveyors from this board.

I'm currently working on the problem with the file extensions in uppercase and adding some comments about the resetting of the dates in the header section.

Check Wendell's link for updates.

When I started this I was also thinking of changing the dates in the Baseline reports back to the date of data collection, don't know if anyone is waiting for this?

Chr.

Christof
I'm sure if you have the time and desire to expand your program to fix the dates in the reports, surveyors everywhere will be happy to use it, including me.

Thank you again for writing the original program and thank you to Dario for showing us how to adjust the date. I haven't heard anything from Dario since he went to survey the pipeline. Have you heard from him?

Wendell was going to check with John Hamilton to see about including John's program along with yours on the Surveyor Connect website so everybody could easily obtain the latest version of both programs at one location. I don't know if Wendell has had an opportunity to do that yet. (hint, hint)

John

Thanks a bunch and yes it worked for me. In fact it worked so well I've decided to keep TGO.

BTW you said it's good till 2020? What happens after 2020? And why 2020?

Well,

I only change the year value and the according Week#, so this way it's rather easy to change the Date value backt to 2011 in the generated reports ... but you have to use the gps-calendar to look up what's possible so the day of the week matches & the the gps-seconds match)

I used this calendar ... it won't let you easily step forward a # years.

GPS calendar

{****************corrections valid till 29.02.2024******************************
Check dates against gps calendar http://adn.agi.com/GNSSWeb/Default.aspx
for valid week and year corrections on march 1 of leap years.
1.03.2011 1625 1.03.2012 1677 1.03.2016 1886 1.03.2020 2095
1.03.2005 1312 1.03.2007 1416 1.03.2011 1625 1.03.2009 1521
6 313 5 261 5 261 11 574
****************corrections valid till 29.02.2024******************************}

With technology changing that fast I think there's little chance someone will process only GPS data in TGO in 2020. We'll all be using Linux latest 2020 version as operating system, of course it will support the old TGO but we'll be using the online gps processor softwareI think ...
