Hi All,
How would you use the Point Projection option in COGO menu in SurvCE? I'm using V5.08. Interesting to know if it can be used to mark title boundary corners. Specially putting marks when the intended point is obstructed. In most cases I have to put marks where there are existing fences (paling, colorbond, brick etc.). So need to place marks with offsets? Any other better option in SurvCE??ÿ
Thanks,
Nimal?ÿ
I use it often and have learned to anticipate it's need and set a stake with a point number written on it so that when I come back in can identify the stake with certainty and use it to pull over to the calculated offset.
I make a sketch since the hardest part is keeping up with the left or right direction.?ÿ
Stake to a line. ?ÿIt will give you real-time station/offset references to the line.
We have a new feature in version 6.0 called "Obstructed Point Stakeout".?ÿ You mark one point to define the azimuth to the point, and a second point along that line to define the distance to the point.?ÿ Sounds like it might be exactly what you are looking for.?ÿ ?ÿYou can read more about it on page 295 of our manual.
