OK, I am sure this has been covered before but there are so many Carlson subject lines that I can't find it - so.
Carlson 2011 inside AutoCAD C3D 2009
Everything was working fine and now the program will only let me "pick" one item at a time. If I go to pick several lines to move, rotate or edit I am allowed to pick only one. If I pick one then try to pick another the first is removed from the que. I haven't changed anything that I can think of but I did get an update recently so that may be it.
I am sure that this is just a setting, but which one? Sorry to be dense but I rarely get fancy with the software or change anything, just another tool, trying to get some plans out.
I would appreciate any input.
Thanks
T.W.
Try the setvar "pickadd". Set to 1
Have you rebooted the software? If so, try shutting down and then rebooting the computer and then the software. Sometimes a hard boot is needed. If this don't work, a call to Carlson is needed.
Mike:
Worked like a charm! Thanks, so many variables I don't know how we are suppose to know what they all are and still have time work.

Terry:
Thanks for the reply. I did close the program and restart it but that was no help, the setvar worked.
I am all set until next time.

since your problem is solved......
Something changed My Carlson / ACAD 2009 so that every time I select something, the command line info appears at the cursor and partially obscures the drawing. It's getting kind of annoying and I can't figure out how to turn it off.

Check the DYN button on the bottom of the drawing screen, or check and make sure it's not checked!
thanks foggy
