Well, it appears as though the Atinav Bluetooth module in my Carlson Explorer 600+ is toast.
Out of the blue, it started to abort the program (SurvCE) once "streaming data" was coming across the connection from my Bluetooth radios for the robot and will connect but not receive data from the GPS. The unit works fine on cabled connections and the WI-FI card is functional, as well.
I have tried a few things per the vendor and Carlson; making sure power was not an issue on any of the gear, clearing the registry and Bluetooth pairings, etc. SurvCE s up-to-date, as well.
Has anyone else had this experience? I have tried very hard to find another Bluetooth option before (CF Card), but does anyone know of an option in lieu of repair? My guess is the repair estimate would be more than market value of the unit...
Thanks,

I gave up on the Atinav Bluetooth a year ago and went to the cable. Someone from Carlson referenced a rehabilitated CF card that they had on their website.
Brian,
Thanks for your input. I am not a big fan of the Atinav nor the Explorer. I was promised multiple wireless connections (wi-fi and Bluetooth at the same time) and that just doesn't work on these units.
I received a quote of $420 to replaced the main PC board that contains the BT module. I think I am going to hold off a little while and just look to new hardware.
Thanks again,
Matt
